Dplus KIA's Deft Celebrates 10th Anniversary with Fans through Volunteer Activities Dplus KIA, the team to which Deft belongs, revealed on the 2nd that they, along with the fans, carried out volunteer activities at the Gyeonggi Animal Shelter in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province, to commemorate Deft's 10th debut anniversary on June 1. This event, initiated to share the love received from fans back with them, included not only Deft but also 15 pre-selected fans and team staff. Together, they engaged in meaningful activities such as cleaning and walking the abandoned dogs at the shelter. Deft expressed, "It was my first time participating in volunteer activities, and I was initially worried, but spending time with fans, engaging in volunteer work, and sharing conversations made it an enjoyable experience, despite the physical challenges. There are many obedient and friendly abandoned dogs here, and I hope they find new families soon." The Dplus KIA team added, "This event, which began in commemoration of Deft's 10th anniversary, was a special time for the team members to reflect on the value of life and think about marginalized areas in society. Through such volunteer activities, we plan to regularly engage in various charitable endeavors." Deft made his debut on April 3, 2013, during the LCK Spring. Over the past decade, he has achieved various victories, including winning the 2022 World Championship. Fans can look forward to witnessing his remarkable performances once again in the upcoming 2023 LCK Summer, which starts on June 7.
